Motor City Wrestling/UCWF Merge

As of 24 Hours ago, the two federations known to you as Motor City Wrestling based out of Detroit, U.S.A and the Underground Championship Wrestling Federation based right here in Milton Keynes, the United Kingdom, have closed for business, neither company is trading with immediate affect and all contracts and sponsorships are null and void.

I realise this might come as a shock to all of you, it sure as hell did to me, but it seems that the contracts for both the MCW and UCWF were forged with identical stipulations by the lawyer of Jacob Laymon, in those clauses, Jacob’s solicitor placed a clause called a ‘minimum release’ clause, which put a value on the assets of both companies, the value in this case being attributed to the share value and the current economic market.

In English, what happened, was someone got wind of the clause and like anything, when a CEO or owner of a company leaves or there is instability within the management structure of the company and that information becomes public, the share price of the company falls, meaning the value of the company as an asset falls, when this happened… Someone, of whom I have no idea who it is, bought the UCWF and the MCW and has in turn, requested there solictor to give myself and the management of the MCW the news that the companies will be closing for business with immediate affect.

It was later revealed when Sheryl Marie Gray appeared, with her husband, The Lethal Weapon at her side, that she was the new owner and that she was making changes, first up she fired Rayne Young and let several people go. Gray then went on saying that “all MCW and UCWF champions, your titles are meaningless, all contenders, your shots, GONE… As of the first show under the new era, everyone will be at a level playing field, there will be NO champions, NO contenders..”

She did infact say that both companies had a lot of history and for that reason she was keeping that history in the new name.

MOTOR CITY UNDERGROUND as it will be called from here on.

Also The first card would be a huge over the top Battle Royal.

3rd – The other half of the champions
2nd – UK Champion
1st – Heavyweight Champion

Needless to say both companies have been rocked by this news.
